About Samantha Brady
Sam trained with Equitherm in 2015 and qualified later that year.
Sam has been an invaluable asset to the Equitherm team. Sam has participate in various research projects with head trainer Sandie Chambers and will be selected to participate further in future projects, due to her diligence and loyal nature.
Sam is particulary observant and understanding of the horses in her care. She has much more than an educated intelligence with horses and has a feel and fundermental understanding of how they maybe feeling and can spot the subtle changes which may indicate injury way before any clinical observations.
"It has been a absolute joy to have Sam as part of the Licensee team, I very much look forward to involving her in more projects at home and overseas". Sandie Chambers, Director
Hi I am Sam and excited to be part of the equitherm Licensee team.
I sat on my first pony at the age of 2 and my parents bought me my first pony, Pepi, at the age of 3. I Competed at local shows enjoying lead rein showjumping and games. I followed in my families passion for horses and this has continued to current day.
When I was 4 I was bought my first show pony and competed at county shows from this age. I enjoyed the Pony Club through my childhood taking part in cross country trials, dressage and show jumping.
I have ridden for prestigious clients throughout my career and have worked with well known show producers as well.
I competed at county level in working hunter, riding horse, hunter and side saddle classes as well as competing the youngstock in hand and have also prepared horses for sales. I have been privileged to train with top producers, trainers and experts in multiple disciplines. Have trained show horses, point to point, race horses and hunters. I currently still back, break and train my own horses as well as providing support and ride horses for re training and that are going through rehabilitation.
I hold several equine qualifications gained at Bishop Burton and Hartpury College
I currently judge at local Riding club shows
I currently own, and have at home youngstock sportshorse's and thoroughbred's as well as owing an ex international racehorse that is now a broodmare for me. I also own a middleweight hunter and small riding horse that have been broken and backed by myself and will be competed at county level from 2017. They will both compete in the sporthorse classes as well as doing dressage through the autumn and winter months.
Prior to been a Thermographer I worked as a senior manager in retail and sales for over 12 years. One of my horses injured itself 6 years ago, I was introduced to thermography and quickly saw the benefits which has led me to where I am now.
Actively support my sister who competes her international showjumper and has qualified for the Scope festival.
Although I’m based in the East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire area I have clients throughout the UK. As well as providing a mobile service you can also visit me at the yard.
You would normally find me with my trusty and loyal yard companion, Bob, the lurcher.
