Our Profile

Chris has been an endurance rider for a number of years and this led him to wanting the best for his horses and so with this in mind Chris embarked on starting his journey to train in Equine Podiatry thus leading Chris to qualify as an Australian Equine Hood Care practitioner. Chris is also a level 3 certified trainer and assessor.

Chris was introduced to Thermography approximately 18 months ago and has since completed his level II BINDT camera operators certificate with The Institute of Infrared.

Chris liked the idea that Equine Thermography could fill a gap in the monitoring of horses that was currently missing so Chris set out to train with 'Equitherm Training' in 2014. Chris finally qualified in February 2015 and will continue to develop his skills as a Technician & Licensee with contined professional development training also provided by Equitherm Training.

Chris has also recently completed a two week course in Advanced Hoof Care.

Chris and his partner, a veterinary nurse, work closely together with vets and other equine professionals to provide exceptional service in hoof care and Equine Thermography.

In Chris's own words "I am always expanding my knowledge of the equine and will never stop learning!"
